Antonia Arora

BA (Hons) | DDE | PGCE

Antonia founded Dynamic Performing Arts in 2011 with the aim of establishing a fun, friendly and inclusive performing arts school. Antonia’s endless bundle of energy, determination and knowledge has been at the heart of the success of the school, where quality planning and teaching is delivered. At present, Antonia plans all lesson content, teaches the Saturday classes and holiday workshops and oversees the day to day teaching & administration of the company.

At the age of 16 Antonia gained a full-time place at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, this was an exceptional opportunity as she received vocational training in the performing arts as well as achieving her A-Levels. After a varied gap-year filled with teaching, performing and travelling opportunities,

Antonia went on to further education and obtained a Drama degree at Winchester University. After graduating, Antonia achieved her Level 4 ISTD Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) at the Linda Sweetzer Dance Teacher Training College. Most recently, Antonia achieved her Drama PGCE from the University of Sussex and has since worked as a Drama teacher in Secondary Schools.

Teaching has always been at the centre of Antonia’s interests and prior to founding Dynamic Performing Arts, Antonia worked for a number of leading national Performing Arts Schools and Youth Theatres, as well as spending some time in New York as a Dance teacher and Choreographer.

Alongside Dynamic Performing Arts, Antonia teaches Drama and Dance at a leading independent secondary school in London, preparing pupils for their GCSE exams as well as directing and choreographing a number of large-scale school productions

Antonia is super proud of what the DPA pupils and teachers have created and achieved over the past 10 years. She can’t wait to welcome and inspire the next generation of budding performers.
