Dance Classes for 8yrs - Teens
The main focus at Dynamic Performing Arts is to develop creative and confident individuals who love to dance & perform.
For those serious about dance we encourage our pupils to take RAD & ISTD dance exams, however this is not essential as we totally understand that the pressure of taking an exam is not for everyone.
All our pupils are given the opportunity to perform on stage in a professional theatre once a year.
Weekly classes take place at Worplesdon Memorial Hall and extracurricular clubs at local Primary Schools. Click here to view our full timetable of classes and term dates.
DPA Bundle Packages a jam- packed morning of Dance - a perfect selection of classes for your child to join, giving them the opportunity to do multiple different dance styles including Ballet, Tap & Modern Jazz Dance. By booking this bundle you save 5% compared to the individual class bookings.
RAD & TEEN BALLET
Our Ballet classes follow the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus. The focus is on creativity and musicality providing the opportunity to progress and achieve through the RAD exam syllabus, should they wish. These classes are small to ensure every pupil receives the attention they deserve to allow for their full potential to be achieved.
ISTD & TEEN MODERN JAZZ
This fun and upbeat class is perfect for those who want to develop their technique while exploring the world of Modern, contemporary and Jazz dance.
You'll learn routines and work on the ISTD Modern Dance syllabus as a foundation—plus lots of opportunities to build flexibility, strength, and performance skills along the way.
Whether you're looking to take your dancing further with ISTD exams or just want to have fun, express yourself, and grow as a performer, this class has something for you.
ISTD & TEEN TAP
Our Tap class is perfect for those who want to build rhythm, coordination, and musicality.
classes will follow the ISTD Tap syllabus, developing strong technique in a fun and supportive environment. Whether you’re new to tap or looking to develop your dance skills.
When you're ready, you can take ISTD exams to mark your progress, and everyone gets the chance to perform in our exciting annual show.
Dance Workshops
Through out the year we offer Dance workshops or Dance intensive coaching for all abilities and levels.
Giving our Dancers the opportunity to try new styles and develop exciting new skills, with plenty of room for self-expression and creativity. Each session is taught by industry professionals, with the aim to learn dynamic routines that keep kids motivated and smiling.
PRIVATE DANCE or DRAMA CLASSES
DPA offers private Dance and Drama classes, perfect for students preparing for Senior School Scholarships or those seeking extra support ahead of Dance or Drama examinations.
These 30-minute one-to-one sessions are led by our experienced and qualified teachers, who provide tailored guidance to build confidence and help each child reach their full potential.
Our pupils have gone on to earn Scholarships at top Independent Schools and achieve Distinctions in their examinations.
Private lessons start from just £20.00 and are available on Saturdays.
